Fetching live rates…

Indicative rate. Fees are exact; the exchange rate is mid-market and moves, so your final quote is confirmed in the app before you send.

Three ways your money moves

Add money

Move money from your bank into Liminal and hold it in USD, EUR, BRL or SGD — ready to save at 5-10% APY or buy US stocks.

Send abroad

Pay someone in another country straight from your bank. Your money crosses the border as a stablecoin and lands as local currency.

Withdraw

Take a balance you already hold in Liminal out to a bank account, in any of the currencies we pay out to.

About these rates

Is this the rate I will actually get?
It is indicative. The fees shown are exact and come from the same configuration our live payment rails use, but the exchange rate is the mid-market rate and it moves. Your final quote is confirmed in the app before you send anything.
Why is the mid-market rate not the whole story?
Mid-market is the midpoint between what banks buy and sell a currency for — a real reference rate, but not one you can transact at. Our payment partners apply their own spread on top, which this page does not attempt to guess.
Why does the cost change when I switch between add, send and withdraw?
Because the money takes a different route. Adding money crosses a deposit rail; sending abroad crosses a deposit rail and a payout rail; withdrawing crosses only a payout rail. Some routes also need a currency conversion in between and some do not — a pound deposit already arrives as dollars, so converting it costs nothing extra.
Which currencies can I use?
Every currency in the selectors is one we actually serve — the list is generated from our live payment configuration, so it is never out of date. Not every pair supports every journey, which is why the options above the amount change as you pick.
