How Pix rewards work
- Pay by Pix. Scan the QR code at the counter, paste a Copia e Cola code or type a Pix key, check the payee and slide to pay.
- Choose on partner payments. When the payee is a Liminal partner, the payment shows up in your transactions with a choice: earn points on it, or pay for it with points.
- Earn keeps the payment as it is and sends points straight to your wallet.
- Pay with points covers the payment with your points and returns the dollars you paid to your balance. The app shows exactly how many points it takes before you slide to confirm.
Rates differ from partner to partner, and each partner’s page in the app shows what you earn per dollar and what paying with points costs. Paying anyone else by Pix still earns 1 point for every $1.

Start the day the Brazilian way, with a café at the counter. Pay Cafe Cultura by Pix and choose: earn points on your order, or let your points pay for it. Your coffee, on us.
Yoga class with Zael Moves
Book a class with Zael Moves, pay by Pix, and use your points to cover it. A good way to meet people in a new city, and to unwind after a week of calls across time zones.
Beer from Trevo Caracol
End the day with a cold one at Trevo Caracol. Pay the bar’s Pix code and choose whether the round earns you points or is paid with them.

How to build your points balance
Pix is the everyday way to earn, but it is not the only one. Every way to earn shows on the Earn sheet in the app:
- Sign up: 5,000 points to get you started, yours to claim once you verify your identity.
- Verify your identity: 2,500 points, once.
- Add money for the first time: 2,500 points, then 1 point for every $1 on every top-up after that.
- Invite a friend: when they join through your link and add $10, you earn 10,000 points and they earn 5,000.
- Pay with Pix: 1 point for every $1, on up to $10,000 of payments a month, and more at partners.
- Save: points every day on the balance you hold in Savings.
- Invest: 1 point for every $1 of stock you buy, then more every day on your portfolio.
Rewards build up on the Rewards screen, and you slide Claim to move them into your balance.

- Verify your identity with your passport or national ID, and earn 2,500 points, plus your 5,000 sign-up points.
- Add money and earn 2,500 more.
